Junior Jams
(for pre-school aged beginners from 4 to 6 years old)
Junior Jams isn’t just a group keyboard class.
It is a dynamic music program that builds a strong foundation for future music learning through shared musical experiences. We will explore music concepts and develop skills through singing, percussion, improvisation, games, storytelling and of course, a good old jam sesh, alongside some time at the keyboard to learn the basics.
With small class sizes, we ensure individual attention while fostering a supportive group environment. Children will gain confidence by performing solo and in an ensemble from day one, encouraged and motivated by their peers.
Junior Jams will set children up for future success in individual music lessons, whether they choose to continue with piano, another instrument, or voice.
Term 2 Information
Class dates/times:
Term 2 dates: 22 April to 30 June - no classes on public holidays
Wednesdays 3:45PM
Junior Jams classes are 45 minutes.
Investment:
$300 for 10 weeks
Please note that discounted sibling rates are not available for Junior Jams classes.
Class resources (folder and worksheets) are included in fees.
Instruments are provided for use during class time. Families are encouraged to have access to own keyboard/piano at home to facilitate practice between lessons. Please reach out if you would like advice regarding selecting the right instrument for your child.
While this is a student and teacher-only class, parents or guardians are welcome to stay if they wish.
